With every passenger transport you, the customer, hand over the responsibility for your security to us and with cargo flights you entrust us with your valuable goods. That is why flight safety is our primary concern. We attach great importance to complying with all maintenance and inspection deadlines for our helicopters. The legal requirements in the aviation sector are very strict all over the world, meaning that compliance with these guidelines already ensures a safe helicopter flight. Nevertheless, we also place great importance on carrying out unscheduled checks, in order to ensure the highest level of safety for everyone involved, at all times.
Our responsibility for safety also extends to people who are not directly involved in the flight. Therefore, we closely coordinate our operations with the police, fire service and local authorities and organise the closing, cordoning off and securing of take-off and landing sites, to the extent required. We organise all flights centrally from our headquarters in Wuppertal, Germany, and, where necessary, we also supervise the operation on site. You will be glad to know that you can rely on 'Made in Germany' quality standards at all times. In order to ensure that our organisational processes also ensure the maximum degree of safety for all flights, we adhere to all the guidelines of the ISO-9001 Quality Management Standard.
In order to promote aviation safety all over the world, we cooperate with the Flight Safety Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated exclusively to aviation safety. The foundation approves aviation safety guidelines and champions technical innovation and scientific research. A total of 1,000 organisations from 150 countries are members of the Flight Safety Foundation. Therefore, the foundation represents a broad range of interests worldwide and unites organisations with different economic, cultural and political interests behind the common goal of aviation safety. The aims of the Flight Safety Foundation are close to our hearts, so we are proud to be active participants in this partnership.
